Set up a Relying Party

Relying Party Configuration

  1. Create a Asp.net Web Application (Empty)
  2. Add the following references:
    • C:\Program Files (x86)\Reference Assemblies\Microsoft\Framework\.NETFramework\v4.5\System.IdentityModel.dll
  3. Select Identity and Access
    If this option is not available get the extension here: Identity and Access Tool

    You can select a built-in STS (which automatically authenticates your request) or enter the metadata url of your sts

    Sample: http://localhost:58922/federationmetadata/2007-06/federationmetadata.xml

  4. Add the following code; it will print the claims for an authenticated user.

  5. Add a certificate reference if necessary:
